Alexandra Stan (born 10th June 1989 in Constanta, Romania) is a Romanian pop singer-songwriter.

In 2009 she released her debut single “Lollipop”, but it was the follow-up, “Mr. Saxobeat”, released on 28th January 2011, which really ignited her career; becoming Stan’s first number one single in her home country and entering the singles charts all over Europe. The song has also had huge success in North America and Latin America.
