Kurt Cobain Worked on Solo Album Before He Died?
Former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson says that Kurt Cobain was working on a non-Nirvana music project before his death in 1994. Erlandson told Fuse.tv about the late singer-guitarist’s solo album, which he compared to The Beatles’ “White Album.”
“That’s really what he was going towards, a solo album but working with different people,” Erlandson said. “I got to see him play it in front of me.”
Apparently there also was a cover song with Cobain’s other original demos. “I won’t say what it is. I don’t own the stuff,” Erlandson said. “I just hope that one day it will be released for fans.”
Erlandson recently released the book Letters to Kurt.
